PDP clears Abia deputy gov for guber race

Deputy Governor of Abia State, a leading governorship aspirant of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the state, has been cleared by the zonal leadership of the party to participate in the forthcoming governorship primaries.
The former Speaker got his certificate of clearance after he was screened in Enugu.
The Clearance certificate sighted by Wawa News Global was jointly signed by the National Vice-Chairman, South East, Chief Ali Odefa; and Zonal Secretary, Chief James Ugwu.
Oko Chukwu has said he had garnered enough experience to fix Abia if given the opportunity, having been around the corridors of power for about 19 years.
He said that his econiomic blueprint would revamp Aba and return Abia to the econiomic map of Africa, promising to consolidate and improve on the gains of his boss as well as the previous administations in the state.
Oko Chukwu who is arguably the most loyal Deputy Governor in the history of Abia State is seriously consulting across the state with a swelling support base in the entire Old Bende political bloc, Ukwa area, Aba metropolis as well as in some Ngwa areas.
