Otti set to present 2026 Abia budget

Gov. Alex Otti will today, November 25, 2025, present the 2026 fiscal budget before the Abia State House of Assembly.
The presentation will hold on the floor of the State House of Assembly complex according to a statement release early morning by the Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu.
The statement made available to Wawa News Global read:
“The Abia State Government wishes to inform the general public, stakeholders, development partners, and the media that His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, will formally present the 2026 Budget Proposal to the Abia State House of Assembly tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 2:00pm.
“This year’s budget presentation comes at a defining moment in our state’s development journey. With the ongoing massive infrastructural transformation across all sectors: roads, healthcare, education, urban renewal, and digital governance, Abians can look forward to a forward-looking and strategic budget designed to consolidate the gains of the past 30 months.
“The 2026 Budget is expected to reflect the administration’s unwavering commitment to rebuilding Abia, strengthening the economic base of the state, and accelerating capital projects that will deliver sustainable growth and improved quality of life for all citizens.
“Abians are therefore encouraged to follow the proceedings through accredited media channels as we collectively witness yet another milestone in the New Abia agenda under Governor Otti’s visionary leadership.
