MMI donates palliatives to orphanage homes in Enugu
Mobile Ministry Incorporated, MMI, has donated items to orphanage homes in Enugu State.
The gesture, according to the founder, Engr. Chuka Nwokoro, was borne out of passion for the downtrodden and orphans.
One of the benefiting orphanage homes was The Blessed Luigi Maria Monti Community in Enugu, a formation house and home for needy and orphaned children.
MMI made generous donation of items for the upkeep of the inmates.
 Nwokoro the gesture was their way of celebrating the New Year with the children and give them a sense of belonging.
He encouraged the children never to lose hope in life, but trust God for everything.
According to him, they should never in their quiet moment, ask why they do not have parents.
He reminded the inmates that God is the greatest thing that happened to mankind.
“The love we have brought to you today is aimed at increasing your faith and restore hope, you are already great kids, just remain focus, read you books and the sky will be your limit”. Nwokoro hinted.
According to Nwokoro, what the world needs now is salvation.
He advised Pastors to focus more on salvation of man rather than dwell on earthly things.
He also cautioned them as get -rich -quick mentality which has lured some youths into wrong lifestyle.
Nwokoro disclosed that he is set to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to all parts of Africa, stressing that Africa must whole heartedly embrace God.
He assured the children that they are in the heart of MMI and will not forget them, as he promised them of better things to come.
Speaking, Mr Davis Everard from New York City, USA, said he came down with his friend Chuka Nwokoro to Enugu, Nigeria. He revealed that what he has seen during the visit to the orphanage home was an eye opener,
He thanked the founder of MMI, Chuka Nwokoro for his passion to giving and helping the needy.
“Nwokoro passion of giving has restored hope, making dreams come through, you can have all but if you don’t give you are nothing. The love MMI have brought to this children will remain indelible in their hearts” Everard reitereted.
Adding her voice, Tierra Collier also from USA appreciated Engr. Nwokoro passion for giving and changing lives of the less privilege in the society.
“What has happened is nice, good, powerful for the kids, to come show them love in an auspicious occasion like this is what they will not forget. I am calling on all those who have to always remember such children, to show love is memorable”. Collier stated.
Speaking earlier, the Managing Director of MMI, lady Delphine Chioma said the organization was established two year ago by the insight of their leader, Engr.Chuka Nwokoro whose vision is to bring the truth, show unconditional love which will in turn increase faith and restore hope to God’s own people.
She disclosed that MMI is a mobile ministry where they pray and show love to mankind, she said the ministry is growing within and outside Nigeria. She urged the children to be responsible and get closer to God. Assuring that MMI will not forget them.
Preaching to the children, pastor Chima Joel Alilionwu urged the children to always read their bible, fear God, love one another be committed, focus to the things of God and be Christlike. He appeal to them not to bear grudges adding that they have come to show them love.
Adding her voice, Nessy Kalu who led the children to songs and worship admonished them to look onto God and no matter the adversities that come their way they should remain steadfast in Christ Jesus. She said love is strong and powerful urging them to hold unto it.
Speaking, brother David Dike who takes care of the children said the home is run by the Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Conception (CFIC), located at 26 Ishienu Street, Independence Layout, Enugu.
He revealed that some of the children were abandoned, while others were wondering the streets without hope, he said the congratulation picked them at various locations did what was required for them to do before bringing them to the home to give them shelter and take care of them.
He thanked MMI for remembering the children and coming up with the donation that will help in taking care of their needs. He noted that the visit and the word of God they have heard will increase their faith and make them not to feel abandoned. He said the visit means a lot to the home.
Contributing, a fatherless young lady of 17yrs, Miss Nnenna Okoro shared her story on how God used Engr. Nwokoro to change her life. She noted that she was picked up while she was selling at a young age. She said he took her as one of her daughters and gave her the fatherly love she lacked.
“I am grateful, for what ever I am today is made possible by the benevolent love and care Engr. Nwokoro showed me. I am encouraging the children not to loss hope because I was like them before my story changed
Later in the day, Engr Chuka used the occasion to also celebrate it second anniversary and new year with MMI family in roots restaurant in Enugu and the highlight was cutting of anniversary cake.
