Kanu in detention for fearlessly challenging lies – Family
By Steve Oko
The family of the detained Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPoB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has said that he is detained because of his boldness to confront lies and stand with the truth.

Kanu’s younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu who spoke for the family, said the IPoB leader had no business remaining behind bars just for seeking justice for his oppressed people.
“The only reason he is in detention is that he is a fearless seeker of truth who challenges authority and questions lies”, the family said.
Wawa News Global reports that the October 20 nationwide solidarity rally for Kanu’s unconditional release being championed by Rights Activist, Omoyele Sowere, is gaining momentum and global support.
