JUST IN: Abia govt formally recognises Pastor Eberechukwu Oji as Eze Aro

UMUAHIA – The ezeship tussle rocking Aro kingdom of Arochukwu may have been laid to rest as Prince Pastor Eberechukwu Oji has been issued with Certificate of Recognition, and Staff of Office, as Eze Aro the ninth.
The Staff of Office was handed over to him Friday evening by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Uzor Nwachukwu at the Ministry in Umuahia.
Wawa News Global reports that the new monarch was accompanied to the venue by a retinue of prominent Aro sons and daughters.
