He said that the purpose of government is to create a peaceful, conducive environment for every member of society.
“When I say every member of society, I mean all the strong and also strong women, both businesses, small and big businesses, students, married women, pregnant women, that is why it creates a little bit of a better state.
“We see that there is investment across every sector. We are building hospitals, we are building schools, we are building roads, investing and strengthening the business environment.
“And he (Gov Otti) understands too, the critical importance of security. So if you build roads and build schools and build all the things, people don’t feel secure. So that’s why he’s also investing in security.

Earlier, the team lead and Director of National and Military Strategy in the National Defence College Air Commodore Longonfa Immanuel Nansoh, said that the purpose of the visit is to conduct the National Study Tour and to acquaint participants with an understanding of the socio-political environment of Abia state.
Commodore Nansoh, said the academy was established in 1992 to satisfy Nigeria’s requirements for strategic leadership.
He said that at the end of the National Study Tour, “our participants are expected to present their findings, bringing up peculiarities of obvious states based on first-hand information.
“The report will make useful recommendations that will improve security in Abia state, while drawing lessons for Nigeria”, Nansoh stated.
