Greg Ibe congratulates Abia national honour recipients

The All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, governorship candidate, Professor Greg Ibe, has congratulated the nine eminent Nigerians of Abia descent who were among those recently nominated for award of National Honours by President Muhammadu Buhari on 11 October 2022.
Professor Ibe in a press statement Sunday, d described the awardees as proud sons and daughters of Abia State.
He congratulated them for excelling in their various fields of endeavour and urged them to keep making the state proud.
According to a press statement by Prof Gregory Ibe Campaign Organization, the list of distinguished Abians recommended for conferment of various categories of National Honours Award is a true reflection excellence and hardwork.
The awardees include: Director General of World Trade Organisation, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala – GCON; His Eminence, Hrm Eze Joseph Nwabeke – CFR; Prof. G.O.C. Okenwa – OFR
; and Hon. Barr. Nkeiru Onyejeocha – OON.
Others include: Prof. Ihechukwu Madubuike – OON; Christopher Ikechukwu Isiguzo – MFR
; Eze Uzo Nwosu – MFR; Eze Isaac Ikonne – MON; and Elder Raymond Aliga – MON.
While felicitating the awardees, Ibe urged them to remain worthy ambassadors of Abia state,.
Prof Ibe had previously received similar award of Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) in 2014.
