Gov Ikpeazu wins Abia guber poll

Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has won the governorship election in the state.
Ikpeazu pulled a total of 26,1127 votes to defeat his closest rival ,Dr Uche Ogah of the All progressive Congress ,APC ,who scored a total of 99574 votes.
Dr. Alex Otti of the All Progressive Grand Alliance , APGA finished third with 64367.
The Returning Officer, Professor Benjamin Ozumba of the University of Nigeria Nsuka, UNN, declared Ikpeazu winner of the contest having won the highest number of votes.
According to the Returning Officer, the total valid votes was 43, 3315 , while the rejected votes was 11,061.
The total number of votes cast is 444376.
