Ebonyi state to honour Sen Orji with grand commander award

Ebonyi State Government has selected the immediate-past Governor of Abia State, and the senator representing Abia Central, Senator Theodore Orji, for the award of the prestigious Grand Commander, Ebonyi Hall of Fame (GCEHF).
The award of GCEHF according to the letter of notification, is in recognition of the awardee’s services to Ebonyi State and humanity.
According to a letter personally signed by Gov. Dave Umahi, the event is scheduled for Thursday December 22 at the State Ecumenical Centre, Abakaliki by 7:00pm.
Senator Orji who was Abia’s Governor between 2007 and 2015 had many awards including the Ochendo Global for which he is popularly known today.
