Covid -19: Ikpeazu tests negative twice

Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has reportedly tested negative to covid-19 pandemic barely one month after the governor went into self isolation after testing positive to the dreaded ailment .
According to a statement by the Commissioner for Information, John Okiyi Kalu, Ikpeazu is seriously improving in his health and will soon resume duties.
This is coming two days after a video clip of the governor playing table tennis with some aides surfaced.
It read in part :”To the glory of God, repeat COVID-19 test conducted by Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on samples submitted by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on Thursday, 2nd July, 2020, returned negative result on Friday, 3rd July, 2020.
Governor Ikpeazu is therefore deemed free of the virus according to the extant guidelines of NCDC and the World Health Organization (WHO).”
