Court grants N50 million bail to Fayose
. Surety must have landed property in Lagos

A Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, Wednesday, granted N50 million bail to the immediate -past Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose.
His second appearance before the Federal High Court lasted less than 30 minutes.
He was also asked to provide a surety who must have landed property in Lagos.
The guarantor is also required to have three-year tax clearance in Lagos.
Fayose is standing trial over alleged financial mismanagement and embezzlement while in office.
He had denied any culpability in all the charges against him, alleging political persecution.
