The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, has disowned viral poster indicating his presidential ambition ahead of the 2027 election.
According to the viral poster, the image of Ganduje was captured as the presidential candidate of the ruling APC, with Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State as his running mate..

The poster captioned:“The Winning Team 2027; Vote APC 2027″, has been sparking uproar on the social media.
But Ganduje, in a statement Sunday by his Spokesman, Edwin Olofu, said he had no hands in the viral poster, and denied nursing any presidential ambition.
In fact, he pointed accusing fingers at his political archenemy, and former Kano Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and his political structure, the Kwankwassiyya Movement.
The APC national Chairman further described the posters as a malicious piece of fake news, fabricated to pitch President Bola Tinubu against him.

Ganduje urged members of the public to ignore the protesters.
He said, “This is to inform the general public that the poster currently circulating on social media, claiming that the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, is contesting for the Presidency in 2027 with Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, as his running mate, is entirely false and a malicious piece of fake news.
“The All Progressives Congress wishes to categorically state that this is the work of mischief-makers, likely in collaboration with certain elements within the Kwankwassiyya movement, who are determined to create disaffection between Dr. Ganduje and His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“For the avoidance of doubt, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje remains unwaveringly loyal to President Tinubu and is fully committed to supporting the President’s vision and leadership. Dr. Ganduje believes that President Tinubu is on the right trajectory to steer Nigeria towards greater prosperity and unity.”
