Pastor Kumuyi storms Aba for 5-day gospel crusade

General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church , Pastor William Kumuyi, has stormed Aba, Abia State with his wife, Esther, and full evangelist team for a five-day gospel crusade.

The crusade which is organised by Deeper Life Church, in partnership with the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN; and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Abia State, is slated for Thursday, April 25 to Tuesday, April 30.

Aba Mega Mall, beside Aba New Park, Osisioma, off Enugu Port Harcourt Expressway, will serve as venue of the evangelist outreach.

Addressing newsmen Wednesday at the venue of the crusade programme ahead of its commencement, Kumuyi declared that “only God can transform man” to live a pure life.

He explained that irrespective of man’s personal efforts to change externally, genuine transformation of the inner man, could only be engineered by God.

He said:” Only God can bring joy, glory and transformation to lives”, Kumuyi declared, while urging Abia residents to take advantage of the gospel outreach to be regenerated.

Pastor Kumuyi who said that God is still in a business of working miracles, declared that there would be harvest of miracles during the programme.

He assured that God would still meet people at the various points of their needs in the course of the programme.

Pastor Kumuyi said a lot of tremendous successes were being recorded.

” Lives are being changed. We see tremendous things. We never expected the amount of healings we see in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.”

He noted that evangelism is God’s mandate, adding that God has always fully identified with him.

” It’s God’s dream, and He is doing much more than we could have achieved on our own”.

Deeper Life State Pastors from all five South Eastern States were present during the media chat.

National Media Director of Deeper Life, Pastor Edward Ogude, who was also on Kumuyi’s entourage, anchored the media chat.

The state Chairman of CAN, Bishop Ojo Ojo Uduma; and his PFN counterpart, Bishop Chikezie Elekwa, were also present during the media parley.

Wawa News Global reports that the venue of the crusade, was already a beehive of activities as the organizers were observed putting finishing touches to the preparations.

Enthusiastic members of the church including members of Deeper Life Christian Coppers accorded a rousing welcome to Pastor Kumuyi and his entourage.

Fully armed security operatives from the various security agencies were equally seen guarding the venue.

According to the programme schedule, Kumuyi will address a Ministers’ Conference in the course of the programme, and also have a special session with the youths on Saturday.

The crusade is scheduled for 5 pm daily, and 8:00 am on Sunday.
