Gov Otti and his appointment of quality persons as TC chairmen
By Ikwuoma Sunday
I celebrate the people whose leadership and commitment to good governance have made significant impacts on Abia state. One of such is Governor Alex Otti who has shown us what it means to lead with dedication, vision, and a profound commitment for the betterment of our beloved state.
Governor Otti’s leadership will forever be marked by his unwavering dedication to appointing technocrats and accomplished individuals to key positions in his government. At a time when politics often overshadows competence, he is standing firm in his belief that the right people with the right skills and attitudinal mind should lead various institutions of government. This approach is paving the way for a brighter future for Abia, one where meritocracy, innovation, and progress have taken center stage.
Among those remarkable technocrats who answered the call to serve our state is High Chief Victor Ikeji, a first class student of political science and a business man per excellence. His acceptance of the appointment is a testament to his own dedication to the principles of good governance and his willingness to put his expertise to work for the benefit of all Abians.
High Chief Ikeji’s call to service exemplifies the qualities we should all aspire to in public service: competence, character, integrity, diligence, and a sincere desire to improve the lives of our fellow citizens.
I join other Abians to celebrate the leadership of Governor Alex Otti and his choice of appointees, understanding what can be achieved when leaders prioritize the well-being of their people and place their trust in the hands of capable, qualified individuals. Others appointed includes, Chief David Ogba (Bourdex), Air Vice Marshal Chinwendu Onyike (rtd), Ide John Udeagbala and Chief Joe Ezearu amongst others. Abia’s future is brighter, thanks to Dr Alex Otti, and we can only imagine their level of performance and the positive impact their legacy will continue to have on our great state.
Let us all celebrate their dedication to service, good governance and the foreseen betterment of Abia as we continue to support them and express our deepest gratitude for their sacrifices.
May their legacy continue to inspire us, and may Abia always be blessed with leaders of their caliber.
