Eid-el-Fitr: Ohuabunwa felicitates Muslims, urges prayers for peace

Former Leader, ECOWAS Parliament, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, has felicitated Muslims in Abia as they join their counterparts all over the world to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr.
He congratulated Muslims on the completion of the Ramadan fast and urged them to faithfully uphold the teachings of the month of Ramadan in their daily routines.
Senator Ohuabunwa in his good will message urged Muslims not to relent in prayers for peace and security in Nigeria especially in the aftermath of the general elections.
He also tasked Muslims on peaceful co-existence with their neighbours including those from other faiths.
The former Senate Committee Chairman on Primary Health and Communicable Diseases, also enjoined Muslims to imbibe the lessons of Eid-el-Fitr, and to show charity to their neighbours.
Senator Ohuabunwa also harped on justice and equity in human relationships, noting that Allah who revealed the Holy Quoran to Mohammed which Eid-el-Fitr commemorates, cherishes justice.
He further urged Muslims to be tolerant, patience and to show generosity which Eid-el-Fitr seeks to promote.
