By Steve Oko
Senator Mao Ohuabunwa has urged Christians in Nigeria and all over the world to keep hope alive.
The former Leader ECOWAS Parliament who stated this in his Easter message told Christians not to be weighed down by life challenges no matter how hopeless the situation might appear.
He noted that the hope of Jesus’ disciples which was shattered by his death and burial came alive again at his resurrection which ultimately made their joy to eclipse their despondency.
Senator Ohuabunwa particularly told Christians and Nigerian youths who still feel so dejected over the unpleasant outcome of the 2023 in some places not to over sorrow, saying that the power that raised Jesus from the grave will soon revive their hope from a state of hopelessness.
He further urged Christians in Abia North to remain steadfast in their trust in God who can turn hopeless and dead situation into a source of endless joy as the resurrection of Jesus depicts.
Senator Ohuabunwa further enjoined Christians to use the Easter season to pray for God’s intervention in Nigeria, and turn her seemingly political situation into a thing of immense joy.
He felicitated Christians and wished them happy and joyous Easter celebration.
