Greg Ibe begins aggressive campaigns, promises to site varsity in Obingwa

Ahead of the March 11 governorship poll, the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Professor Greg Ibe, has commenced aggressive campaigns across the length and breadth of Abia State.




Professor Ibe who has been on campaign tour of political wards in the state to solicit support promised to rebuild Abia if given the opportunity.
Ibe who said he was on a mission to rescue the state and make it the pride of the Igbo land, promised to change the narrative.
He was received everywhere he went with his campaign trail by a large crowd of enthusiastic supporters.




Addressing a large crowd of supporters at Obingwa, Professor Ibe promised to site a state university of Medical and Allied Science in the area.
Prof Ibe made the pledge while addressing a huge crowd of APGA faithful who gathered at Opobo junction to welcome him during his campaign tour of Obingwa, said he would fulfil whatever promise he made to the people.
The APGA governorship hopeful revealed that his Government would further transform Obingwa by building a flyover interchange bridge across Opobo junction to help ease flow of traffic..

In a remark, the Senator representing Abia South in the national assembly, Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe enjoined the people of Obingwa to repeat the support they accorded him on the election of 25 February by voting massively for Prof Ibe and other APGA candidates from the area during the 11th March governorship and state assembly election.
The campaign trail subsequently visited several wards in Obingwa where Prof Ibe and other APGA candidates interacted with the constituents.
