I ‘ll make Abia leading destination for youths if elected – Greg Ibe

Abia State governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Professor Greg Ibe, has vowed to make Abia a leading destination for youths in Nigeria if voted into power in the March 11 governorship poll.
This was contained in his manifesto tagged ” a new Abia” a copy of which was sighted by Wawa News Global.
The Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies said he would create the conducive environment to ensure more youths relocate to Abia, support youths lifestyle with critical infrastructure, and engage the youths in the task of revamping the state .
He also promised to make Abia the prime centre for commerce, trade and industry.
” I will develop, and sustain critical infrastructure to support investments, and instigate deliberate policies to boost trade and industry”, he said.
” Our approach is to enthrone a system where the government creates an enabling environment for our people to thrive, offers unrivalled care and protection of her citizens anywhere they may be, and lead such a government that restores our pride as a people once again, while emboldening us to willfully create and shape our own narrative”, he added.
Professor Ibe further promised to make Abia advanced centre for innovation and entrepreneurship development.
He said his administration would provide the required technological commitments to boost innovations, and “engender a thriving entrepreneurial landscape for those so inclined”.
The APGA governorship hopeful also said that if given the opportunity to be on the saddle of leadership, he would “recreate, develop the Abia brand and make our people invest in it”.
” I will revive the spirit of brotherhood and enhance the Enyimba philosophy of advancement, perpetuate an attractive image of Abia for the collective prosperity of our people “.
Professor Ibe urged Abians to support his efforts to rescue the state from economic doldrums, vowing to pursue massive infrastructural revolution across the state if elected.
” All that Abians require is a conducive environment for their businesses, investments, families and children to thrive. Our pledge to NdiAbia remains that: we will lead from the front of innovation in service delivery to create and sustain an economic climate that will generate prosperity for all our people and enthrone an environment that says Yes to the dreams and designs of Ndi Abia. This philosophy will underpin the activities of our administration “.
Professor Ibe who said his antecedents in the private sector spoke volume of his competence, promised not to disappoint Abians if given the opportunity.
