The Federal Government, Monday, began a five-day training of 50 Abia young graduates on internet and satellite technology.

The training which is anchored by the Federal Ministry of Communications & Digital Economy is aimed at reducing unemployment and endless search for white collar jobs.

Participants are drawn from all 17 Local Government Areas of the state.

In an interview with Wawa News Global, one of the participants, Mr. Nduoma Okoroafor, expressed joy over the training which he said was a capacity building and empowerment for self reliance.

He commended the Minister of States for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah, for attracting the training which he said, would make huge economic impact on youths.

Nduoma further noted that any effort geared towards youth empowerment “is the most effective way of fighting crime” considering the ripple effects of having a productive youth population.
