Group mulls engagement of 100 talented children in creative arts

A group under the aegis of Pro-kids Educational and cultural Initiative (Pro-KECI), a non-governmental organization has planned to engage about 100 talented children between the ages of 6-17:years in various creative art forms.
The NGO will also embark on a strategic children benefit program tagged, “Children of Hope” in collaboration with the Bayelsa State ministry of women affairs and social development.
A statement issued to newsmen in Yenagoa, by the Project Coordinator Mr Eyinimi Omorozi, Pro(KECI) is devoted to enriching the lives of children through educational and cultural diverse initiative.
Omorozi said, “The Children of Hope is a charity benefit program designed to support and improve the welfare situation and the overall development of children living in the various Bayelsa Orphanage homes
“”The children benefit program is intended to help raise critical funds to support the provision of qualitative basic education, essential health care, good nutrition, clean water and social services for these less privileged group of children.”
According to him, the program is geared towards engaging about 100 talented children between the ages of 6-17:years who will be carefully groomed by a team of seasoned professionals in various creative art forms, to put up a culminating event of talent and creativity for the, “Children of Hope” special album launch as a fund raiser which is packaged for May 2021.
He further stressed that, the “Children of Hope” project is also aimed at promoting the artistic and creative abilities of talented Bayelsa children.
“It will help to increase their creative thinking and stimulating various career opportunities, for them in the future for both the commercial and entertainment industry, as well as increasing their personal capacity for excellence, leadership and enterprise.”
