The non availability of tribunal members two hours after the official time for judgement in the suit filed by Senator Mao Ohuabunwa (PDP) , against the election of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu (APC), has triggered anxiety among supporters of both parties.
The Justice Cornelius Akintayo -led three- man tribunal has on September, 3rd after the counsels in all parties in the suit had adopted their final written addresses, fixed September 9 ( today ), for judgement.
As early as 9:00 am when the court was expected to commence sitting, supporters and counsels to parties in the suit had started thronging the court premises.
The court room was quickly filled to capacity while the overflow milled around the premises curiously waiting the arrival of the judges.
But two hours after there was an air of anxiety and discomfort among the curious crowd of supporters on what could be the reason behind the non availability of the tribunal members.
However, their curiosity was doused when one of the clerks announced that the judgment would be delivered by 12:00 noon.
He however did not give reasons for the late commencement but simply asked the counsels to patiently wait.
