Other Igbo ‘traitors’ ‘ll receive Ekweremadu Germany treatment – Nnamdi Kanu
* As IPOB promises hell for Ikpeazu, Umahi, Obiano, others
By Steve Oko
Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has vowed that any Igbo political elite who fails to stand with the people against injustice perpetrated against them by their oppressors would receive the humiliation meted out to the immediate past Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu in Germany.
Ekweremadu was reportedly attacked in Germany on Saturday by suspected IPOB members for allegedly not doing enough to defend Ndigbo against oppression and persecution by their enemies despite his vintage positions in government.
Kanu who took to his verified twitter handle Sunday said other Igbo “traitors” should learn from the Ekweremadu experience.
The IPOB leader who promised to address the world in a broadcast 7 pm Sunday on the development also said revolution against injustice had begun.
He twitted: “The courageous act by IPOB at Nürnberg Germany is a polite warning to those engaged in selling our collective interest to Fulani caliphate. Nwodo, Igbo govs are warned.
“Join me via Radio Biafra FM, App, satellite and online. Date: Aug 18, 2019 Time: 7 pm Biafraland Time”
This is as the Chief Press Secretary to the IPOB Leader, Amaka Ekwo, had earlier identified some prominent Igbo leaders to be treated like Ekweremadu anytime they are sighted outside the shores of Nigeria.
Those on the ‘humiliation list’ of IPOB include : Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State; his Anambra State counterpart, Willie Obiano; Gov. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State; former Imo governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha among others.
Ekwo had earlier twitted :If you see any #FantasticallyCorrupt politician on this list boarding flight ✈️ from Nigeria, to oversees, please tag #IPOB in a tweet, we shall receive them with flowers 💐.
“😡Rochas Okorocha
