I ‘ll help eradicate poverty through youth empowerment -Uche Ogah

Minister designate and the Abia State governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Dr. Uche Ogah, has promised to help eradicate poverty in the state and beyond through youth empowerment.
Ogah who made the promise in his Onuaku Uturu country home when Youth Vanguard Isuikwuato chapter visited him expressed concern over the rate of unemployment among youths .

He said President Muhammadu Buhari had put in place some packages including N-Power , Anchor Borrower and other agricultural programmes to move more youths out of the labour market, and enjoined Abia youths irrespective of their political inclination to key into such programmes for self sustenance.
Ogah who said he was very passionate about youth welfare, hence his ability to empower many youths in his private capacity, assured that youths would benefit more from his appointment into the public sector.
The oil magnet said he would never relent efforts in advancing the cause of youths, arguing that if youths are properly empowered, society would be a safer place as that would help reduce crime wave.
Ogah said his appointment as Minister of the Federal Republic “is a blessing to Nigeria youths ” as he will use everything within his powers to better their lots.
The Minister designate said he would not discriminate against any youth despite one’s political affiliation, pledging to work together with the necessary stakeholders to advance the cause of the Nigerian youths.
Earlier in his remarks, the leader of the delegation and Leader of Ogah Youths Vanguard, Isuikwuato chapter, Osondu Joelee Okoro said they came to solidarise with Ogah and reassure him of their loyalty and support.
Okoro described Ogah’s nomination as Minister designate as “the perfect will of God” and a blessing for Abia State.
He said Ogah’s antecedents and landmark achievements in the private sector where he had distinguished himself as model for excellence were sure proof that he would deliver in any portfolio that the President might assign to him.
Okoro assured the Minister designate of the continued support and loyalty of Isuikwuato youths to ensure his success both as a Minister and in his future political endeavours.
