Western Chiben academy holds maiden graduation in grand style

It was a celebration galore Thursday in Abia as the Western Chiben Academy located at N0 40 Nkwere Street by Niger Road Umuahia held its maiden graduation in grand style.
Parents, staff and visitors at the event were thrilled by the superlative performance of the graduands as well as other pupils of the school.
The Proprietor, Dr. Umelu Kalu in his remarks at the glamorous event said his dream in establishing the school was to make quality nursery, primary and post primary school available and affordable for Umuahia residents.
He said his vision was to make the school a centre of excellence where ‘stars’ would be produced for future global roles.
Highlight of the ceremony was the award of honour to some outstanding graduands .
Some of the dignitaries at the event were the District Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church, Umuahia Central District, the Rev. Henry Emelike; the Senior Minister in charge of AGC, 5-8 Item Street, the Rev. Young Alozie, among others.
