By Steve Oko
Reports reaching our news desk say suspected herdsmen have attacked oil company workers at Agwa town in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.
This is coming less than a week after herdsmen shot sporadically into the air to scare farmers at Ohaji Egbema LGA for daring to confront them over destruction of their crops by cows.
The herders who reportededy vowed never to quit the village have continued to graze their flock on the farms .
Meanwhile, the attack on the oil workers, according to a local source, came after the herders claimed their cow was stolen in the area.
“They claimed their cow was stolen. Our land is under serious occupation. Please Imo state Government should come to our rescue “, the source yelled.
