Lawmaker lauds CMD of FMC, Umuahia for centre’s renovation

Dr Azubuike Onyebuchi, the Chief Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia has been commended for his efforts at the ongoing massive renovation at the centre.
Mr Jerry Uzosike, member representing Umuahia South in Abia House of Assembly, gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to the CMD.
The commendation was contained in a release issued to the Wawa Global in Umuahia on Tuesday by Mr Henry Madubuike, the Chief Information Officer to Abia Assembly.
The lawmaker extolled Onyebuchi for intoducing a maintenance culture at the centre, describing his action as the hallmark of prudence and productivity.
He specially lauded him for the renovation of hostels, wards as well as the furnishing at the centre.
Uzosike urged him not to relent in his efforts to put Umuahia on global focus.
He congratulated Onyebuchi on his emergence as the CMD of Umuahia extraction since 40 years to head the centre.
Uzosike noted that Onyebuchi ranked among the best brains in the medical profession from Umuahia.
According to him, Onyebuchi did his people proud by emerging the best in the 2011 and 2019 examination and interview for the position of CMD.
Earlier in his remarks, Onyebuchi thanked the members of the Umuahia South State Constituency for their solidarity.
He promised not to do anything that would diminish the good name of the entire Umuahia.
