Trouble for criminals as Gov Ikpeazu donates 20 Innoson patrol vans to security agencies in Abia

The fight against insecurity in Abia State received a major boost Wednesday as Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu handed over 20 brand -new Innoson patrol vans to security agencies in the state.
Handing over the vehicles all fitted with full communication gadgets, Ikpeazu hinted that dditional 10 patrol vans are expected to arrive the state by the end of the week.
On the choice of Innoson vehicles for the patrol vans, Ikpeazu who has championed the made -in-Aba products said the action was in line with his passion for the promotion of locally -made products.
He said the practical way to create new jobs for the teeming unemployed youths was to encourage the growth of local industries, describing Innoson Motors as strong and durable.
Ikpeazu who presented the vehicles to the Commissioner of Police, Abia state, Mr. Ene Okon, said the gesture underscoref the importance his administration attached to the security of lives and property of residents.
He explained that the vision of his government was “to create an

His words : “The position of Abia as number three in terms of direct foreign investment in Nigeria would not have been possible if security issues are not in the front burner of the administration.”
He challenged security agents to reciprocate government gesture by putting the vehicles to good.
Ikpeazu said he expected crime rate in the state to reduce drastically , promising to provide more support to security agencies in the state.

Responding, the CP , Mr. Okon thanked the Governor for the gesture and promised to deploy them to good use.
He described the gesture as a morale booster to security agencies in the state.
