Breaking : Okiyi , Ubani, attorney general, three others spared as Ikpeazu dissolves cabinet

Commissioner for Information, Abia State, Chief John Okiyi Kalu ; and his Works counterpart, Hon Eziuche Ubani were among the six lucky Commissioners spared as Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu dissolved the State Executive Council .
The Governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Enyinnaya Appolos ,Tuesday night, announced the dissolution of the State Exco with immediate effect.
Other Commissioners not affected by the dissolution include the Attorney General and Commisioner for Justice, Chief Umeh Kalu (SAN); Dr. Aham Uko (Environment) ; Mr Obinna Oriaku (Finance ) and Dr John Ahukannah (Health).
The statement directed the affected Commissioners to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries of their respective Ministries.
Ikpeazu commended them for serving the state and wished them well in their future endeavours.
