Breaking : Israeli war jets pound Gaza strip
By Steve Oko
In response to incessant attacks by balloon burn fires hauled by Palestine, Israeli war jets on Thursday struck a Hamas military post in Northern Gaza Strip.
Several balloons sent into Israel by Hamas fighters had caused bush fire in the Jewish nation.
According to a statement by the Israeli army, the air strike was carried out after a large brushfire broke out in the Eshkol region of Southern Israel.
“Israeli army will continue crushing any attempts to harm Israeli civilians,’’ the statement said.
Information reaching Wawa News Global says many vehicles were burnt, driver roasted to death as a petrol tanker caught fire in the Jewish town.
It said that the fire was suspected to have been caused by wave of arson balloons carrying explosives toward Israeli cities.
Palestinian witnesses told Xinhua that the Israeli jets struck a military facility that belonged to Hamas movement in Northern Gaza Strip.
No injuries were reported, but severe damages were caused to the base.
