Abia polls : Ogah, Chinedum Orji in early lead in Umuahia North

Reports available to Wawa News Global indicate that the governorship candidate of the opposition All Progressive Congress ,APC Dr. Uche Ogah is already costing to victory in Umuahia North Local Government Area.
According to results so far declared at various polling units, Ogah is well ahead of other contestants in the governorship race ,while the incumbent Gov. Okezie Igbeazu followed closely behind.
In the same vein, the Leader of the House of Assembly and member representing Umuahia Central Hon. Chinedum Orji is in early lead in most of the polling units also in the constituency.
According to the results of the governorship so far declared, Ogah is in the early lead while Ikpeazu is in second position.
Dr. Alex Otti of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, is maintaining a distant third position.
At the polling unit at the Umuahia North LGA headquarters, Ogah polled 113 votes while his closest rival, Ikpeazu got 32. Otti came third with 21 votes.
Similarly, Ogah cleared the poll at Amafo Isingwu unit 006 with a whopping 239 votes against Ikpeazu’s 108 votes.
Ogah’s winning spree continued at Umuda Okpuala unit 010 where he won with a slim margin of 71:70 garnered by Ikpeazu.
At the Post Office polling unit opposite NUJ Press Centre, Aba Road Umuahia, Ogah scored 63 while PDP had 34 votes.
At Union Primary School Afaraukwu, Unit 021, Chinedum Orji polled 121 votes against APC’s 106, and 14 scored by 29.
Orji also won at the Post office Aba Road as he polled 65 votes ahead of his closest rival in APC who got 34 votes.
More results are still being expected as collation of results are on-going.
