Abia North falls to APC as Onyejiocha wins return ticket

Member representing Isuikwuato /Umunneochi Federal constituency, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, has won a return ticket to the House of Representatives.
The All Progressive Congress, APC candidate polled 14,712 to defeat her closest rival, Ude Achara of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who scored 10,064.
Onyejeocha , a three -time lawmaker was a member of the PDP until last year when she joined the APC.
She will now be serving for her fourth term, and may be in a position to be considered for any principal office in the green chamber.
Similarly, Ben Kalu of APC, has won the Bende federal constituency race.
He polled 9138 to emerge winner while Chima Anyaso of PDP scored 5591. APGA candidate came third with 2898 votes.
Results of other federal constituencies in the state are still being expected.
