Corpse dumped behind Golden Guinea Umuahia

Less than 24 hours before the presidential and national assembly elections, a lifeless body of a middle -aged young lady was dumped behind Golden Guinea breweries Umuahia.
The identity of the corpse is not yet known as at the time of filing this report.
It is also unclear the circumstances surrounding the development as the body of the deceased is intact.
Residents said they woke up on Friday morning to see the corpse dumped on the road side.
There were also no bruises on the corpse fueling suspicions that she might have been strangulated.
Meanwhile operatives of the state Police command were observed evacuating the corpse.
A police officer with the human rights department from the World bank Police station who led other policemen to evacuate the corpse, said some residents of the area had reported the incident to the police.
