Reports reaching Wawa News Global say no fewer than four persons including two soldiers were killed Wednesday when Boko Haram terrorists attacked the convoy of Gov. Kashim Shettima of Borno State.
The Governor was on his campaign tour when the tragic incident occurred.

A civilian militia member said the attack happened near the town of Dikwa as Borno Governor Kashim Shettima was on the campaign trail ahead of nationwide elections on Saturday.
“Two soldiers were killed and two other civilians,” he told AFP.
It is not yet clear if the governor was injured in the attack.
