I’ll rebuild Abia in two years – Uche Ogah

The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Abia State, Dr. Uche Ogah, has promised to “rebuild the state” in two years if voted into power in the forthcoming election.

Ogah who made the promise Friday at the Umuahia Township Stadium while flagging off his campaign said the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP, “has ruined the state in its 20 years rule”.
The oil magnet said “there is enough money in government ” to develop the but regretted that the ruling party in the state has sqandered it for personal aggrandizement.
Ogah declared that he would use the state resources to develop Abia for the good of all.
He said his candidature was divine insisting that nobody can stop him as God is behind him.
” There is nothing you can do to a man whose time has come. The will of the people is a strong army, “.
Ogah urged Abians to support him in the coming election assuring them that under his watch Abia will “rejoice again “.
” I have the solution to Abia problem, and I am coming to change the narrative “.
He appreciated the national leadership of APC for the option of direct primaries which he said necessitated the emergence of the best of candidates in the state.
The APC governorship candidate also said Abia would deliver” 80 per cent vote ” to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of APC flag to the Ogah and candidates of National Assembly by the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole.
The Presidency was represented by the Minister of Science and Technology, Chief Ogbonnaya Onu who described Ogah ‘s emergence as the best thing to happen to Abia.
The former Abia State Governor urged Abians to support Ogah to end their suffering and lack of development.
Minister of Labour, Dr. Chris Ngige was also among the dignitaries at the rally.
