Abia 2019: Ogah triumphs as court bars Emenike from parading self as APC guber candidate
By Steve Oko
The electoral chances of the authentic governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Abia State , Dr. Uche Ogah, brightened Thursday, as a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja reaffirmed his candidature.
A factional candidate, Ikechi Emenike has gone to court to challenge Ogah’s candidature and had last week gained temporary victory but Thursday’s ruling has ended his joy.
The court in clear terms told Emenike not to parade himself as APC governorship candidate for the 2019 poll again.
In a ruling delivered by Hon. Justice A. I. Chikere, the court further issued an Order restraining Ikechi Emenike from parading himself as the APC governorship for 2019.

Wawa News Global recalls that both APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had earlier recognised Ogah as the authentic APC flag bearer for the poll.
Ogah whose popularity has continued to swell is projected to “sweep the poll” according to one of his fans, Mr. Nduoma Okorafo.
Okorafo said “Abians are curiously waiting to give Ogah their mandate come 2019,” insisting he is the only one that has the solution to the challenges of the people.
