BREAKING!!! Alleged travel ban : Atiku to visit US end Nov
By Steve Oko
The presidential candidate of the main opposition Pepples Democratic Party, PDP, and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar will visit the United States of America, Wawa News Global, can authoritatively report.
Spokesman of Atiku’s Campaign Organisation and former Aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, who disclosed this on his twitter handle today said the trip would put to rest the controversy and rumour over the alleged travel ban by US against Atiku.
Okupe who described the rumour as unfounded said those who have been making political capital out of it would be put to shame.
He said Atiku would be in the US on official visit and public engagements.
Okupe said those blackmailing Atiku with ‘travel ban tag ‘ should “burry their faces in shame by the time Atiku leaves for the US this month “.
He said the increasing blackmail against Atiku was a sign he is the nightmare of President Muhammadu Buhari and his party.
“Atiku contested Presidency in 2007 under AC. Nobody called him a thief then, neither was he known then to be corrupt. I often wonder if the Atiku running for President today is the same that ran in 2007. This orchestrated campaign of calumny against Atiku will not stand because it’s false.
“Concerning the little understood but copiously exaggerated supposed travel ban on Atiku. His Excellency and incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will be travelling to the US for official and some public engagements by the end of Nov 2018.”
Okupe predicted landslide victory for Atiku in the 2019 presidential poll.
