Abia ‘ll witness massive infrastructural transformation under my govt – Ogah

The Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abia State, Dr. Uche Ogah, has said that the state would witness massive infrastructural transformation under his watch as Governor.
Ogah who made the promise today in Umuahia decried the near collapse of infrastructure in the state and appealed to Abia residents “to be patient for a while because their deliverance is at hand “.
The oil magnet who spoke through a press statement signed by his Media Adviser, Mr. Great Imo Jonathan, said he joined the governorship race because of his passion for the people and desire to end their sorrows using the powers at his disposal as the Chief Executive of the state.
He said his election as Abia Governor means “an end to the persistent hardship of Abia citizens ocassioned by bad leadership “.
The Governorship hopeful said he would not discriminate against any part of the state but spread development evenly across every community.
Ogah promised to remain steadfast in his determination to bring development to the state and to ensure that every part of the state “witnesses massive infrastructural transformation amidst industrial development.”
The industrialist said that if elected as Governor in 2019, he would bring to bear his success stories in the private sector.
He therefore solicited the massive support of all Abians at the forthcoming poll.
Ogah urged Abia electorates to place merit above sentiments in the 2019 election ” to avoid the error of putting the wrong person in charge of the affairs of our dear state “.
He thanked APC members for giving him the opportunity to fly the party’s flag, and solicited their continued support so as to win at the main poll.
Ogah equally thanked his co -contestants at the primaries and thanked them for exhibiting the spirit of sportsmanship.
He noted that they were all qualified to govern the state and pleaded for their support since by the “grace of God and the will of the people ” he emerged as the party’s flag bearer.
Ogah extended an olive branch to all of them and urged them to forgive whatever grievances and support his ambition in the overall interest of the party and the people.
He promised to carry them along and to also integrate their programmes into his vision to move the state forward.
