Take your python dance to N’East we’ve enough good music in S’East, Abia ex-AG AG, Onyendilefu tells army

Amidst the growing public outcry against the intention of the Nigeria Army to commence Operation Python Dance lll in South East geopolitical zone, the immediate past Accountant General of Abia State, Sir Gabriel Onyendilefu has asked the Army authorities to perish such unpopular contemplation.
Onyendilefu who stated this while fielding questions with newsmen Wednesday in his country home after declaring his intention to run for the Isiala Ngwa North, and South federal constituency said the entire South East zone is at peace and has no need of any special military operation.
He advised the Army to give such attention to North East bedevilled by insurgency and incessant attacks by herdsmen.
“I don’t think ‘Operation Python Dance’ is needed in the South-East.They should do it in the North-East where we have serious security challenge,” he said.
Wawa News Global recalls the Operation Python Dance ll launched by the Army in the zone in September 2017 claimed many lives of Igbo youths particularly members of the Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB).
IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu is yet to be accounted for after his country home in Afaraukwu Umuahia was raided by troops in the course of the ‘infamous’ operation.

The operation has continued to draw wide condemnation and anger by many people from the zone who see it as a deliberate attempt by the federation government to further molest and intimidate the people of South East.
