Rights activist blasts FG, Usman over comments on Atiku
By Steve Oko
A Human Rights activist, Comrade Ikechukwu Njoku, has blasted the Federal Government, as well as a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Niger State, Mallam Abdulwahid Usman, over their derogatory remarks on the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar.
Njoku said the APC and its candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari are already scared of the PDP flag bearer, hence the unwarranted vituperations against the former Vice President.
He lampooned Usman for making what he called unguarded remarks against Atiku whose emergence and candidature enjoy the support of Nigerians.
His words : “I have clinically read and digested your filthy and clueless vituperations against the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. The fact is that the people from the South and North will never vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
:Your self-serving and shameful allegation of USA corruption against Atiku is utterly absurd and barbaric.
“You and your APC elements should learn how to display courage and fortitude by offering timely admonition to Buhari by asking him to quit the presidential race before being disgraced at the poll.
“If Atiku is corrupt, when did he become suddenly corrupt to the lamentation of Nigerians and why did you not prosecute him in 2015 when he sponsored Buhari into “victory”?
“Let me tell you that the highly spirited competition and non-rancorous acceptance of the verdict of the democratic process that elected Atiku, attests the deep commitment of politics without bitterness, the rule of law, political decency and mutual respect for one another. PDP is a formidable team going into 2019. Nigerians are behind Atiku.
“Your APC propaganda is that “Atiku cannot visit the United States of America. Please, when has visiting or not visiting a foreign country become a constitutional requirement for electing a Nigerian President?
“As a Christian, I am probably barred from visiting Mecca. Does that preclude me from exercising my legitimate right as a bonafide Nigerian citizen to vote or be voted for in any capacity I may choose?
” Atiku has no pending criminal or human rights violation case awaiting for him in the Hague. The 131 cases against Buhari in the Hague should be a dilemma and an insomnia to you and your party.
“Buhari has been hypocritical. His so called “integrity” has no melody. Are you not aware that Buhari condemned the killing of the Rhingya Muslims in Myanmar but keeps mute over the slaughter of the Igbo Christians and the Shiite Muslims in Nigeria?
” Are you not aware that he turns a blind eye as Janjaweed and Salafist Fulani herdsmen butcher Northern and Southern Christians in the name of land-grabbing by conquest?
“Are you not aware that he declared for the establishment of a Palestinian State and yet rejects the idea of Biafra sovereignty? Oh! You do not know that he condemned North Korea’s dictatorship but proved to be the most ruthless dictator that Nigeria has ever known? You are still not having the knowledge to the fact that Nigeria is now a member of every International Islamic organization in a Christian dominating country?
” The first lesson I learnt in my military training is never reinforce failure. What we have now is failure. Never you reinforce failure. Let failure be failure”.
“The above submission by the ex-President is the mind of every patriotic Nigerian. Buhari is indeed a failure and his government is the most corrupt in the Nigeria history.
APC according to him had boasted of recovering huge sums of money from Nigerians being proceeds of corruption but can not account for the recoveries.
“We have recovered and still recovering trillions of naira that were stolen in the past few years by people without conscience”
“So, you have recovered trillions of dollars and yet our capital dept is risen to N22trillion with stagnating economy, massive infrastructural deficit and poverty den of the world. APC has succeeded in its attempt to yoking Nigeria and her unborn children with the Chinese loans.
“Having spent huge sum of money for the purchase of expression of interest and nomination forms and finally be technically delisted via his Senatorial ambition, the ex-IGP Suleiman Abba, bitterly disparaged the APC and asked Almighty God to deal with Adams Oshiomhole.
“A Nollywood actor, Barrister Kenneth Okonkwo of Enugu State, described the APC as a cult group when he was thrown out of the party like a senseless rat having spent millions of naira to acquire his governorship expression of interest and nomination forms.
“Professor Pat Utomi of Delta State also despised the APC when he was unable to locate the venue of the guber primaries of the party he spent millions of naira to become an aspirant. The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, accused the APC of unbridled impunity under Adams Oshiomhole.
“If Buhari’s own wife does not believe in the APC and rejected the corruption styles of all the primaries, why should Nigerians believe in the APC or accept their primaries? Can anybody know Buhari and the APC more than the First-Lady?
“Buhari-led federal government is indeed saddled with unbridled corruption, lies and economic psychosis.
“When he was the Petroleum Minister the first time, there was a reported missing of 2.8 billion naira and today he is the Minister of Petroleum, NNPC was reportedly engaged on a frivolous contract scam of 26 billion dollars.
” Nigerians are asking to know the reason why there is always huge missing of billions of dollars whenever Buhari is a Minister of Petroleum. Ikoyi Osborngate and Minagate have not been prosecuted. Babachi Lawal’s grass-cutting scandal has been forgotten by the Buhari government.
“Pn October 7, 2018, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo says that the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari has spent N1.7 trillion in capital investment in two years budget years.
“According to the Amnesty International, Nigeria is corrupt today than she was in 2015 and made her the worst ever retrogression on the CPI, moving 12 steps backward from 136 to 148.
“On Tuesday, October 9, 2018, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) says that Nigeria’s economy is doing poorly as it cuts growth projection. The irrepressible and reprehensive corruption in the Buhari-led government is unending. His anti-corruption war is utterly selective.
“There is capital flight out of Nigeria. Nigeria is not in this year’s(2018) top 10 highest recipient of FDI in Africa when in 2013-14, we were number one.
“The naira is not stable. S & P rated naira the worst performing currency in Africa in 2016 and one of the worst in the world in 2017 and has lost 82% of its 2015 value whereby classifying it as volatile currency.
“Manufacturing capacity has reduced to 28% from 2015 levels. We are dependent on foreign loans.
“Buhari has borrowed more than any other president in the Nigerian history. Two years after Vice-President Osinbajo flagged off Ogoni cleanup, not a drop of oil has been cleaned. Instead, a Maritime University meant for the Niger-Delta was scrapped.
“Conflicts between the Fulani Militias and the peaceful Nigerian farmers and Christians remain genocidal in the eyes of Man and God!
“On June 26, 2018, Buhari said: there is nothing I can do to help the situation except to pray”.
“He obviously said the above shameless statement when he visited Plateau State after the Fulani herdsmen slaughtered hundreds of Nigerians in that State.
“He remembered to pray for the protection of the ruthless Fulani militias but could not pray for the peaceful movement of the IPOB who are simply asking for a peaceful referendum.
“The situation in the North East has deteriorated seriously. Almost a thousand soldiers have been slaughtered by the Boko haram terrorists. Boko haram overan the army camps more than three times in 2018.
“Buhari has been disgracing the Nigeria youths before the International community. He told the Commonwealth of Nations on April 18, 2018 in London that Nigeria youths are lazy and uneducated.
“He is not respected in the International community as the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, calls him “lifeless” and vows never to meet him again in life.
“Nigeria is more divided than ever. He continues to appoint mostly the Northern Muslim Fulanis into sensitive positions. Massive vote buying has been created in the Nigeria electoral space under this present regime. The Police routinely declared Osun State governorship opposition candidate wanted days to the election and the APC chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, admitted on a national television of rigging the Osun State election.
“In my opinion, the APC smells like a rotten Chinese fish and a Calcutta brothel. They smell to high heavens and they have fouled up the Nigerian space with the compelling and overwhelming stench.
“History is already beginning to vindicate President Goodluck Jonathan in spite of the incessant and insignificant propaganda of the APC. We have had the almost four years of the APC ruthless rule without seeing the promised “change”. We are no longer under the illusion of “change” as it represents fraud, emptiness, incompetence and lies.
“Even though the APC has spent three and half years re-litigating and blaming what was wrong with the PDP, it should be clear to Nigerians that the PDP is far better than the APC.
“Around this time in 2014, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu State has started seeing vision on how Buhari is the messiah we have been waiting for, whilst Goodluck Jonathan was a badluck for Nigeria. Today, Catholic priests are being massacred and slaughtered like Christmas goats in large numbers but Mbaka is yet to see another vision.
“APC protégés are nothing more than a rabble-rousing gathering of incompatible souls. They are misguided association of pernicious lairs who have a deep-seated and unbreakable covenant with the spirit of death.
“They are not political party but a lodge of cult of death and corpsocrats. They bring nothing but genocide, death, decay and destruction in the land. They appoint the dead in their administration. They wait and worship death. All the things they touch, result to death and death.
